I have been in the marine business for many years. I have seen many products come and go. Burnewiin is one of few that have a quality and design that will stand the test of time. I use these mounts for everything from rods to electric trolling motors and seat mounts. It's less expensive, cleaner, and faster to use Burnewiin than fabricating something ourselves. Thank you Burnewiin for a great design and quality product.
Received my order and I'm so impressed with the Burnewiin product program! The packaging is superb, the quality of the stainless steel, and the fit and finish is perfect! I am moored in the same marina as Coastal Craft boats. The produce wonderful boats that continue to amaze me. As I walk past them I always noticed the Burnewiin hardware and had to have some. Maintaining an organized boat really helps when the fishing action heats up. Burnewiin products help me keep the clutter to a minimum. The easily removable rod holders and fender cleat inserts keep my gunwales clear when netting fish. Having the Burnewiin mounts at all four corners of my boat is incredibly convenient when you need to tie up quickly in an unusual temporary location. Having their Ocean Knife in the mount closest to the bow when anchor fishing is an excellent practice should the unexpected occur.
I immediately liked the Burnewiin mounts and accessories; they were uncomplicated, highly functional, and esthetically pleasing. But, I was skeptical about the Burnewiin rod holders, I was used to my gear and didn’t want to make a change. I finally gave the Burnewiin holders a try and when my first salmon hit, I was amazed at how easily my rod released from the holder. My days of losing a fish because I can’t strong-arm the rod out are over thanks to Burnewiin
